About This Role
- Own and evolve the database layer of a cloud-hosted multi-tenant healthcare SaaS platform, including schema design, migrations, and deployments.
- Design, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures, reporting pipelines, and performance tuning in a high-concurrency SQL Server environment.
- Collaborate closely with .NET developers on data access patterns and support data integration, audit, and compliance controls for HIPAA/PHI data, including participation in CI/CD processes for database changes.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016 or later).
- Expert-level T-SQL skills including complex procedures, CTEs, window functions, dynamic SQL, and cursor optimization.
- Experience with database design including multi-tenant schema patterns and performance tuning techniques.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework 6 or EF Core and Git-based workflows for code review and branching.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in high concurrency SaaS environments with healthcare or regulated data handling is highly advantageous.
- Skilled at bridging database development with application-layer services, especially .NET-related data access optimization.
- Comfortable participating in CI/CD pipelines for databases and modernizing legacy stored procedure logic into application code.
