About This Role
- Design, develop, and implement complex data solutions using frontend and backend technologies, primarily in Python and Scala.
- Develop AI-enabled services and workflows, including self-serve tooling for AI assistants.
- Coordinate build and release activities, maintain code integrity, and ensure security and data protection throughout the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, specifically as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala and experience with AWS technologies (EKS, EMR, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, Firehose, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Experience with AI coding tools, Big Data infrastructure (especially open-source like Spark, Iceberg, Airflow), Kafka, Kubernetes operators, Databases like Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and strong SQL skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building meaningful data infrastructure with cost efficiency and governance focus, preferably using open-source technologies.
- Capable of managing the full software development lifecycle including design, testing, monitoring, and release with AI-assisted coding tools.
- Able to coordinate cross-functional teams and handle business change cycles from inception to implementation.
