About This Role
- Provide technical oversight and lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications particularly in Cards and Payments domain.
- Drive adoption of test-driven development, application modernization including migration from monolithic to microservices, and ensure high-quality scalable software delivery.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, managing complex technical analysis, solution design, and stakeholder collaboration across global and remote teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-15 years of hands-on experience in technical design and delivery of enterprise applications, especially in Cards and Payments space.
- Graduate or Post Graduate degree in engineering or computer science streams.
- Demonstrable experience leading and directing software development teams with expertise in Core Java (1.7+), J2EE, Spring framework, Microservices, and Mainframe technologies (IBM z/OS, COBOL, CICS).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and messaging systems like Kafka or Solace.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical lead capable of managing end-to-end delivery in complex banking application environments, especially cards/retail banking.
- Strong background in modernizing legacy mainframe systems into distributed microservices architectures with focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Skilled in collaborating with global remote teams and driving technical innovation including AI integration and automated testing practices.
