Tier-1 brand, mid-level QA title and metro location, but niche protocol focus reduces candidate pool.
Highly specialized PCIe/CXL/DDR firmware QA skills limit cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 4–10 years requirement plus mandatory protocol, firmware, and tooling expertise increases screening rigor.
Develop and modify unit and integration tests for PCIe, CXL, DDR, and firmware modules in Python and C/C++ using Pytest and GTest frameworks.
Debug failed tests and automation issues within CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated quality processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to validate firmware and ensure robust quality releases of management subsystems and memory interconnect technologies.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
4-10 years of hands-on QA/Validation experience specifically with PCIe, CXL, firmware, and DDR technologies.
Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming, with experience using Pytest and GTest; capable of writing new tests from scratch.
Experience with CI/CD workflows and automation integration; knowledge of protocol analyzers and debugging firmware logs.
Experienced in QA leadership roles focused on high-speed interconnects and storage (PCIe, CXL, NVMe, SSD firmware).
Strong technical operator with skills in automation frameworks, protocol compliance, and debugging within CI/CD environments.
Comfortable working cross-functionally on advanced validation and test automation involving firmware, memory controllers, and interconnect protocols.
