About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software testing systems for C, C++, and Python components, focusing on automation frameworks and firmware validation for PCIe, CXL, and memory products.
- Lead and drive technical decisions and architectural discussions across multiple projects and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, enforce coding best practices, and integrate quality processes into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Pytest, GTest, and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc).
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in software design and development using Python and C/C++.
- Expert proficiency in Pytest and C/C++ testing frameworks including GTest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to debug test failures using debugging tools for both Python (pdb, VSCode, PyCharm debugger) and C/C++ (GDB, IDE debuggers).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and delivering multi-project software testing solutions within semiconductor or hardware validation environments.
- Proficient in driving technical leadership including architectural decisions and cross-team collaboration.
- Familiar with applying generative AI and prompt engineering techniques to enhance automated test generation and refinement.
