About This Role
- Review and audit legal invoices for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to client billing guidelines across multiple client accounts.
- Evaluate and adjudicate appeals on invoice reductions, provide documented decisions, and act as liaison among law firms, clients, and legal teams.
- Analyze legal spend trends to identify inefficiencies and support cost management strategies, while meeting SLAs and quality/productivity targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree mandatory.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in law firm, legal operations, legal billing review, litigation support, or invoice auditing environments.
- Strong understanding of legal billing concepts, attorney fee structures, litigation processes, and contractual billing guidelines.
- Familiarity with U.S. Property & Casualty Insurance industry and related legal claim processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in legal invoice auditing with proven ability to handle complex billing disputes and appeals.
- Proficient in using legal e-billing platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, TyMetrix) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Capable of cross-functional collaboration with claims, legal, finance, and operations teams to enhance billing processes and legal cost management.
