About This Role
- Develop and maintain automation framework for data warehousing progression and regression testing.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing for data validation between source and target databases using Azure components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify testing needs and ensure automated test scripts meet project deliverables and improve test quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Extensive experience in ETL concepts, data migration testing, data warehouse testing, BI reporting, and data automation using Python.
- Proficiency in complex SQL queries on Azure Databricks and experience with Azure-related testing tools and frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in agile and waterfall environments with ability to integrate testing frameworks using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Skilled in working with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Notebooks, and Cosmos DB (preferred).
- Has finance industry experience and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Docker and ISTQB certification is a plus.
