About This Role
- Execute and automate various types of UI and system testing (functional, system, stress, customer scenarios) for enterprise hybrid cloud products with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain system tests and automation suites aligned with product test requirements across multiple features.
- Debug product and test issues, collaborate with development teams for defect resolution, and mentor junior test engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 2-8 years of relevant work experience in testing enterprise products.
- Mandatory skills include expertise in test planning, execution, and automation; Unix/Linux kernel environments; Python and shell scripting; UI testing and automation tools like Selenium, Playwright; API automation with REST and Postman; and source control tools like GitHub.
- This is an onsite role expected to work primarily from an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced intermediate-level automation engineer comfortable working with minimal supervision on complex UI and system testing for hybrid cloud enterprise products.
- Strong background in Unix/Linux environments and automation technologies including scripting, UI and API automation frameworks.
- Able to collaborate effectively with development teams and provide guidance to junior engineers, contributing to test strategy and defect resolution.
