About This Role
- Design and maintain processes for development of certified and safety-critical software complying with standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 62304, DO-178C.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product managers, development teams, and customer-facing teams to deliver safety-critical capabilities for VxWorks and Helix Virtualization Platform products.
- Support project execution by driving process improvements, providing training, participating in process reviews, and supporting quality assurance activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in software, system or product safety process definition.
- Expertise in at least one safety certification standard: IEC 61508, DO-178C, or IEC 62304.
- Experience with lifecycle management tools such as Polarion, Jama, or DOORS.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in aerospace, industrial, medical, or automotive domains focusing on safety-critical and certified software development.
- Skilled in process definition and improvement, quality assurance, and collaboration with certification organizations.
- Familiar with Agile project management and software development lifecycle; knowledge of related tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA) and real-time operating systems is a plus.
