About This Role
- Design and maintain processes for certified and safety-critical software development ensuring compliance with standards like IEC 61508, IEC 62304, DO-178C.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product managers, remote teams, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality safety-critical software capabilities for VxWorks and Helix Virtualization Platform.
- Support project teams during execution including training, process reviews, quality assurance, and working with global teams to meet objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software, system, or product safety process definition.
- Expertise in at least one of the following standards: IEC 61508, DO-178C, IEC 62304.
- Experience working with safety, process or quality audits and certification organizations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in aerospace, industrial, medical, or automotive industries focusing on safety-critical software development and certification processes.
- Proficient with lifecycle management tools such as Polarion, Jama, or DOORS and familiar with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Capable of driving process improvements, supporting training and certifications, and collaborating with distributed global teams.
