About This Role
- Lead complex technical accounting assessments and prepare detailed accounting memos under US GAAP and IFRS.
- Translate accounting conclusions into scalable processes, controls, and finance system configurations to strengthen operational execution and compliance.
- Manage India IFC readiness and drive the development of an internal audit and controls function, partnering with auditors and finance leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, controllership, financial reporting, internal controls, or audit, preferably in technology or SaaS.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; practical exposure to IFRS and multi-entity accounting preferred.
- Experience with SOX readiness, IFC, ICFR, controls implementation in multi-entity, multi-system environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically strong accounting leader skilled in converting accounting analysis into practical, scalable operational processes and controls.
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance, legal, sales operations, auditors, and IT to embed controls and risk management.
- Background in high-growth technology or SaaS environments with exposure to AI-enabled finance workflows and control automation.
