Lead Systems Operations Engineer - Platform Reliability Engineering, SRE, Observability and Monitoring, Platform Support

Drive reliability, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence across critical platform and application services by applying modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including high-level systems consultation, technical decision-making, and large-scale systems and network infrastructure planning for Systems Operations.

Collaborate and consult with engineering teams and management to resolve complex technical challenges and escalated support issues affecting core business solutions.

5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Deep expertise in at least one platform domain such as Database, Cloud, Network, Compute/Storage, Middleware, or Enterprise Application Support.

Hands-on experience with SRE practices (SLI/SLO, error budgets, reliability metrics), observability/monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, etc.), and scripting/automation using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.

Experience operating in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments and familiarity with infrastructure automation/IaC tools such as Ansible or Terraform.

Senior engineer with strong domain expertise in platform reliability or SRE aligned roles, capable of leading initiatives and mentoring peers.

Experienced in applying structured approaches to incident, problem, and change management in complex production environments with enterprise dependencies.

Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and produce high-quality, data-driven, reliable operational outcomes within defined timelines.
