About This Role
- Own end-to-end Finance & Accounting operations for container terminal services including AP, AR, Billing, Cash Application, Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, and Month-End Close.
- Ensure billing accuracy, revenue capture, financial controls, audit readiness, compliance, and delivery performance within maritime shipping and logistics finance context.
- Lead client governance, stakeholder management, productivity improvement, operational transformation, capability development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of Finance & Accounting operations experience including end-to-end leadership across multiple finance processes.
- Experience managing multi-process or multi-tower finance operations in shared services, global business services, or outsourced environments.
- Location: Thane, must work from office; Shift: US Shift (5:30pm to 2:30am).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in finance operations with domain expertise in container terminal billing, maritime, ports, freight, or transportation finance.
- Proven capability in client governance, executive stakeholder management, and operational excellence in complex multi-tower finance functions.
- Strong expertise in financial controls, revenue recognition, automation, process transformation using ERP/accounting systems like OASYS and terminal systems like Navis N4.
