Design, develop, debug, integrate, and maintain PHY software for 2G/4G/5G cellular communication systems with focus on PHY development and issue resolution.
Analyze complex PHY issues using logs, traces, crash dumps, KPIs, and system behavior to identify root causes and improve product quality.
Contribute to AI-assisted development and Root Cause Analysis initiatives by building and fine-tuning AI-based tools for PHY log and crash analysis.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in wireless communication / PHY software development, integration, debugging, or system troubleshooting.
Strong hands-on experience with 4G/LTE and/or 5G NR PHY; working knowledge of 2G is required.
Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills; good Python/scripting skills for automation and analysis.
Good understanding of PHY architecture, algorithms, DSP, digital communication, PHY/RF concepts, and relevant 3GPP specifications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep PHY domain expertise with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes by correlating multi-source evidence beyond linear debugging.
Experience collaborating across multiple teams (MAC, RLC, RRC, RF, DSP, HW, system) to resolve complex cross-layer issues.
Interest or exposure to AI-assisted development, debugging, or automation tools to enhance RCA efficiency in PHY software development.
