About This Role
- Independently execute various types of testing (functional, system, stress, customer scenarios) for enterprise product features including installation and upgrades.
- Develop and automate system-level tests aligned with product requirements across multiple features.
- Debug product and test issues while collaborating with development teams, and mentor junior test engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in enterprise product testing and automation.
- Strong skills in Python programming, shell scripting, UI automation (Selenium, Playwright), REST API automation (Postman), Jenkins, and source code management tools like GitHub.
- Willingness to work onsite at HPE office as role is designed as onsite.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced tester comfortable working with Unix/Linux kernel environments and enterprise-class storage, networking, and server hardware concepts.
- Capable of independently managing test plans, executions, automation, debugging, and cross-team communication with development partners.
- Demonstrates competence in using AI tools (Microsoft Co-Pilot) and modern automation frameworks, with a high ability to learn new technologies quickly.
