Java Back End Developer - Vice President

Lead the design, architecture, and hands-on development of scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant backend services and APIs that support an enterprise-scale digital platform serving hundreds of thousands of clients.

Provide technical leadership influencing architectural decisions, technology choices, and backend architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security including IAM and SSO integration.

Mentor senior developers, lead code reviews and troubleshooting, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

8-12 years of extensive backend software development experience including architecting large-scale enterprise platforms with leadership roles.

Expert proficiency in Java backend programming and frameworks; strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, RESTful API design.

Experience with IAM systems including SSO protocols like OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven technical leader with prior Principal or Lead Developer experience in large-scale backend system architecture and development.

Deep understanding of security-oriented backend design including identity management and compliance in financial services domain.

Experience working with cloud-native environments, containerization, and enterprise integration of diverse applications to support high volume, mission-critical platforms.
