About This Role
- Own and lead quality engineering for complex product features, including test strategy, durable automation, integration validation, and delivery feedback improvement.
- Design risk-based test strategies covering unit, API, UI, integration, exploratory, and non-functional testing tailored to product risk and confidence needs.
- Perform hands-on functional and exploratory testing to provide high-confidence signals and lead quality-risk decisions for release readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-10 years in software engineering or quality engineering roles, with 5+ years in building or evolving automation or test infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript preferred; solid experience testing APIs, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, and integrations.
- Proven ownership of automation frameworks, test platforms, or engineering systems from architecture through operational support.
- In-office presence required 4+ days per week in Trivandrum; candidate must currently reside or be willing to relocate (no relocation assistance).
