About This Role
- Designs, develops, and troubleshoots secure, stable, and scalable software solutions within the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Technology team.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met by development code.
- Leverages enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with validation through peer review and testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Tandem Pathway, Batchcom, Netbatch, FUP, KLIST, Enform, SQL queries and knowledge in COBOL, SCOBOL, TACL languages.
- Banking domain knowledge specifically in Cards Processing and Payment Brands such as VISA and Mastercard.
- Experience working within agile methodologies (CI/CD, Scrum) and using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket; proficient in using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability within banking payment technologies.
- Skilled in validating and refining AI-generated code outputs adhering to secure coding and resiliency standards.
- Familiar with software development life cycle toolchain and able to identify hidden data patterns to drive architecture and coding improvements.
