Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own and manage global People Operations systems including HR tech stack, payroll (non-Finance), compliance, and contract administration across 35 countries.
- Design and maintain AI-enabled, automated self-serve workflows covering the entire people journey from pre-boarding to off-boarding to optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee configuration, troubleshooting, and integration of hiring tools enabling hiring managers to operate independently, while documenting self-serve processes for accessibility and scalability.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience building and owning sophisticated HR automation tools (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Make.com) – core to the role, not just end-user experience.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll, compliance, or HR operations across multiple countries, preferably involving Employer of Record (EOR) providers.
- Proven expertise with HR Information Systems (HRIS), preferably with HiBob experience or HR system migration/assessment.
- Work Experience Required: Typically 5+ years in relevant HR operations roles, focusing on automation and multi-country compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a product mindset with strong technical ownership and iterative improvement of HR systems and workflows for employee and manager usability.
- Experienced working autonomously in high-autonomy, async-first, remote environments with multiple countries and dispersed teams.
- Capable of balancing operational rigor with empathy; comfortable managing sensitive employee interactions with structured and organized approaches.
