Tier-1 brand and metro location raise competition, but niche HV/EOL test skills limit applicant pool.
Role requires specialized EVSE/high-voltage EOL testing experience, making skills less transferable across industries.
Explicit 6+ years EOL requirement, HV experience, and mandatory LabVIEW/TestStand/Python skills drive strict filtering.
Design, build, and maintain automated End-of-Line (EOL) test systems including high-voltage AC and DC test benches with associated safety systems.
Develop and automate test execution scripts and integrate electrical safety and functional testing, including communication interface validation and safety device automation.
Lead root cause analysis for EOL test failures, optimize manufacturing test processes, and ensure traceability by integrating EOL test data with MES and databases.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
6 to 14+ years manufacturing test engineering experience, with at least 6 years focused on EOL testing in automotive, EVSE, battery, or high-power electronics environments.
Experience with high-voltage AC (up to 480V three-phase) or DC (up to 1000V+) test systems.
Proficiency in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python for test automation; knowledge of EV charging standards (J1772, ISO 15118, DIN 70121, OCPP).
Experienced in establishing and managing high-voltage, safety-critical manufacturing test environments with strong focus on compliance and safety protocols.
Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware/firmware/software issues, and translating complex test data into actionable improvement steps.
Able to bridge R&D test requirements with high-volume manufacturing and integrate test systems with MES for traceability and yield improvements.
