About This Role
- Design, develop, and operate scalable backend microservices focused on Unified Policy and Distribution Engine for Cisco Umbrella and Secure Access products.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and automate software delivery pipelines (CI/CD) to support production systems and ensure system health and security.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct proof-of-concepts to recommend improvements for the organization’s tech stack.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development.
- Programming experience in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript; familiarity with Unix/Linux OS.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts (routing, firewalls, gateways).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-native backend applications with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, and basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, performing troubleshooting, on-call support, and proactive system monitoring.
