About This Role
- Own and maintain data pipelines containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as customer email addresses.
- Design, develop, deploy, and optimize data warehouse solutions and ETL pipelines across various data sources using APIs, Cloud SQL, FTP/SFTP, with focus on improving query performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to gather data requirements and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries and specifications.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data pipeline and data warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google BigQuery (GBQ) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages (Python preferred), plus familiarity with DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in agile environments and managing sensitive PII data within data pipelines and warehouses.
- Strong capability in data warehouse modeling and optimizing data systems on cloud platforms, especially GCP/GBQ.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with business and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
