About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components focusing on secure, stable, and scalable systems within the Payments and Liquidity business.
- Write high-quality, secure code mainly in Java and utilize enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to enhance code quality and delivery speed.
- Analyze and address technical problems involving system design, distributed databases, messaging systems, and low-latency, high-traffic environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Hands-on experience in Java, distributed databases (Oracle/MongoDB), messaging systems (MQ), gRPC, and system design concepts for low latency and high traffic.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically validate outputs.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to Agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Java 17+ and full stack enterprise application development within a corporate environment.
- Skilled in developing microservices deployed on AWS infrastructure including EKS/ECS and EC2, with Terraform scripting experience.
- Familiar with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and agile SDLC delivery practices.
