About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components within JPMorgan Chase's Payments Technology, focusing on secure, stable, and scalable solutions.
- Write secure, high-quality code primarily in Java with AWS infrastructure usage, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools while ensuring code quality through peer reviews and testing.
- Apply knowledge of software development lifecycle tools and methodologies, including CI/CD and agile practices, to contribute to end-to-end solution delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Java programming and AWS cloud services.
- Practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Backend developer experienced with enterprise Java (preferably Java 17+) and AWS services including microservices deployment on Elastic Kubernetes Service or Elastic Container Service.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and deploying applications in production AWS environments.
- Experience working within agile, CI/CD environments delivering SDLC projects in complex corporate settings with a focus on secure and resilient applications.
