About This Role
- Design and own test strategy covering offline/online syncing and hardware integration edge cases for an in-store application platform.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks beyond basic UI automation, covering on-device apps and AWS backend services.
- Mentor mid-level QE team members and coordinate test cycles with delivery managers and engineers while reporting quality risks and coverage gaps.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of Quality Engineering experience including at least one distributed-systems or offline-first product.
- Strong background in test strategy and architecture design, not limited to test execution.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver) and API testing (e.g., Postman) to build/own automation frameworks.
- Ability to define test coverage across device applications and AWS backend services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex test strategy ownership for distributed/offline-first systems in retail or POS environments.
- Proficient with automation frameworks that integrate UI and API level testing across diverse platforms and cloud services.
- Capable of mentoring and coordinating within a cross-functional team delivering scalable, resilient AWS microservices-based platforms.
