About This Role
- Own end-to-end sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of IoT hardware components (cameras, RFID readers, LiDAR, radar, telematics) and related software/licenses.
- Conduct technical and commercial assessments, prepare Decision Analysis and Resolution, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Manage supplier evaluation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and collaborate with engineering and legal teams for contracting and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in IoT Product domain with exposure to procurement, sourcing, or product evaluation in IoT or electronics.
- Strong technical knowledge of IoT hardware (cameras, RFID, LiDAR, radar, telematics) and associated software ecosystems.
- Proficiency in procurement processes and tools including SAP; experience with supplier evaluation and contracting per global standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in technical and commercial evaluation of complex IoT hardware and software products with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Able to translate technical requirements into procurement strategies and optimize sourcing processes for cost and efficiency.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, legal, and procurement in a matrixed environment.
