About This Role
- Drive operational excellence and digital transformation across global R&D to improve effectiveness, productivity, and Return on Science (RoS).
- Scout, evaluate, and implement AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies to accelerate product development and enhance decision-making.
- Lead process diagnostics, productivity improvements, portfolio management, and cross-functional initiatives to optimize R&D workflows and resource utilization.
Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocess, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, AI, Automation; OR M.Sc./M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy; OR MBA with strong technical/scientific background.
- Experience: 5-12 years in Pharmaceutical R&D, Process Excellence, Digital Transformation, Technical Operations, Manufacturing Excellence, Innovation Management, or Strategic Projects.
- Mandatory experience in driving AI, analytics, automation, or digital initiatives preferred; exposure to pharmaceutical product development or portfolio management is desirable.
- Work Experience Required: 5-12 years

- Capable of managing complex portfolios and driving governance, with a focus on measurable outcomes in productivity, cycle times, and Right First Time (RFT) performance.
