About This Role
- Lead end-to-end application development using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge ABL focusing on scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
- Define technical architecture and design approaches for enterprise applications ensuring stability, reliability, and sustainability.
- Drive legacy system modernization via refactoring, optimization, integration improvements, and mentor developers while supporting Agile delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Progress 4GL / OpenEdge ABL development.
- Strong expertise in enterprise application design, database management, query optimization, performance tuning, and system integrations (APIs, web services).
- Proven ability to conduct code reviews and enforce software engineering best practices.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in relevant technologies (Progress 4GL / OpenEdge ABL).
