About This Role
- Lead and oversee data engineering initiatives including data migration, validation, reconciliation, and reporting to support legal reporting and historical data management.
- Manage infrastructure readiness, security patching, performance tuning and troubleshooting for data engineering systems across multiple database platforms and ETL pipelines.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors while leading and developing people to ensure successful application retirement and data archiving projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data engineering, software engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, big data architecture, software development or data warehousing.
- Proficiency with SQL, query optimization, ETL, data modeling, and tools like Solix CDP, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, IBM Db2, Power BI, SAP BO, Databricks, Windows Server.
- Certification in data engineering or cloud computing architecture preferred but not mandatory.

- Experienced leader capable of managing complex data engineering projects involving data migration, archival, and application retirement.
- Proficient in multiple database environments and data engineering technologies with ability to coordinate vendors and stakeholders effectively.
