About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain robust trading software systems integrating real-time market data and supporting high-volume, time-sensitive processing including end-of-day workloads.
- Implement and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, DMS) ensuring data integrity, monitoring, validation, and scalability during peak loads.
- Provide technical support by monitoring live systems, debugging issues, maintaining runbooks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, typically 5+ years in data engineering or related roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL including development and performance optimization.
- Strong skills in Python and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with ACID-compliant data ingestion, schema evolution, CDC patterns, and production readiness ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building resilient, idempotent data ingestion frameworks supporting high-volume, time-sensitive workloads like EOD processing.
- Operationally focused with strong monitoring, alerting, and runbook maintenance skills for live production environments.
