About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-enabled services and integration capabilities to extend Mastercam’s desktop-to-cloud platform.
- Build and evolve the integration layer between C++ desktop applications and cloud services, ensuring reliability under desktop constraints like performance and connectivity variability.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to establish scalable integration patterns, improve SDK interoperability, and support Mastercam’s global developer ecosystem.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4-5 years of professional experience developing web APIs, cloud services, and commercial CAD/CAM applications in C++.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for cloud services and APIs; experience integrating native desktop apps with cloud services.
- Experience with object-oriented development, source control, unit testing, Agile methodologies, and software quality practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale, hybrid desktop-to-cloud software integration, particularly within CAD/CAM domains.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in both C++ desktop and C#/.NET cloud technologies, with a focus on API/SDK extensibility and developer ecosystem support.
- Capable of managing complex projects involving multi-team collaboration to deliver stable, high-performance software integrations across evolving architectures.
