About This Role
- Lead design and development of ecommerce solutions within Mastercam's WordPress platform including custom plugins, payment processing, and purchase workflows.
- Architect and integrate WordPress environment with internal systems and third-party APIs, ensuring compliance and auditability of implemented solutions.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, documentation, and active participation in agile planning and delivery processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6-9 years of web application development experience including PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 3+ years of ecommerce application experience with payment gateway integration and transaction handling.
- Extensive WordPress development expertise including custom plugins, themes, hooks, filters, REST API, plus experience with API design, relational data models, and cloud deployment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level engineer skilled in complex WordPress ecommerce architecture with ability to independently deliver technical solutions and mentor others.
- Experience working across multiple web platforms with broad development skills beyond WordPress for objective platform evaluation.
- Proactive in clear technical communication across distributed teams and capable of balancing WordPress conventions with custom solutions to meet business and compliance needs.
