About This Role
- Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native backend applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines with strong focus on cloud implementation, application monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise applications with automated testing and Agile processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years software development experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Run, Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, IAM, Cloud Monitoring).
- Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or PCF), CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Tekton, Maven), and relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise Java microservices development with strong backend and cloud-native capabilities on GCP and container platforms.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with global distributed teams including architects, technical leads, and production-support units.
- Capable of owning full lifecycle tasks including design, development, testing (unit to performance), monitoring, production troubleshooting, and cloud migration efforts.
