About This Role
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate production-grade backend services and AI-enabled automation capabilities focused on network validation.
- Build agentic workflows involving LLMs that interact with tools, APIs, execution engines, and network environments to perform validation tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex multi-layer issues and mentor engineers while contributing to technical designs and engineering practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years professional software engineering experience in backend, full-stack, automation, or distributed systems.
- At least 3 years of production-level Python development experience; experience with Go, Rust, TypeScript, React, Node.js, .NET, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka is relevant.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, AI tool integrations, or AI-enabled application development.
- At least 2 years hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, cloud-native deployment, or production software operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building distributed workflows, REST APIs, and event-driven applications, preferably with multi-agent system design patterns like planner/executor models.
- Familiar with AI/agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph and with AI integrations including MCP or A2A capabilities.
- Background in network automation, device connectivity, testing/validation platforms, or infrastructure automation to align with Cisco IQ and Validation focus.
