About This Role
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring financial management, compliance, and timely, accurate reporting across the organization.
- Serve as a key finance partner to senior management and program teams by delivering financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making and resource utilization.
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team, drive process improvements and internal controls, and oversee donor/grant financial management and statutory compliances.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in NGO/development sector, inclusive of project/grant accounting and donor reporting.
- Postgraduate qualification: M.Com or MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as Tally or Zoho.
- Work Experience Required: 8-12 years (explicitly mentioned).

- Experienced in managing financial operations in nonprofit or development sector contexts with familiarity in FCRA, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor finance teams while coordinating with senior management and program teams.
- Skilled in financial analysis, MIS, budgeting, internal controls and able to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders effectively.
