About This Role
- Supervise and ensure accurate, timely end-to-end accounting and reporting processes including general accounting, fixed assets, accounts receivables/payables, costing, and performance reporting in compliance with policies and SLAs.
- Manage and coordinate system reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues while providing financial advice internally and externally.
- Lead people management responsibilities including setting goals, coaching, mentoring, resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA).
- 8-10 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting.
- 4-5 years of experience leading, developing, and coaching teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with SAP and financial shared service centres is preferred, indicating strong operational and system knowledge.
- Ability to manage multi-location, multi-system teams and engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Capable of driving high accuracy and timeliness under SLA-driven, complex accounting environments with a focus on continuous process improvements.
