About This Role
- Design and develop high-performance C++ core execution engines and real-time simulation algorithms for medical device software.
- Develop 3D visualization and virtual patient modeling using VTK, ITK, and 3D modeling tools for complex anatomical and volumetric data.
- Build modern web-based UI interfaces with React and JavaScript, backed by service-oriented or microservices architectures on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of total work experience in software development.
- 6+ years hands-on experience in modern C++ including object-oriented design and multi-threaded systems.
- Experience working within regulated medical device software development lifecycle (SDLC) with compliance to IEC 62304/FDA and HIPAA data security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full-stack architectures combining native C++ desktop frameworks with modern web technologies and cloud services.
- Skilled in medical imaging domain technologies such as DICOM, VTK, ITK, and 3D modeling pipelines.
- Capable of technical leadership including architecture planning, root-cause analysis, and mentoring within an Agile development environment.
