About This Role
- Design and build platform APIs in TypeScript and Python for internal developer consumption, ensuring ease of adoption and backwards compatibility.
- Own Kubernetes deployment, Helm chart maintenance, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and API layer configuration including routing, authentication, and rate limiting.
- Monitor, debug, and maintain platform APIs using OpenTelemetry instrumentation and collaborate with security and operations teams to keep services compliant.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building production APIs with proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes including debugging pods, Docker, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of API design principles including OpenAPI specifications, REST conventions, versioning, error handling, and pagination.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and experience with authentication patterns such as OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
