About This Role
- Develop and own product development for next-generation Access and Aggregation platforms involving JunOS or Junos EVO software architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product management, system, and solution test teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Provide engineering support and assist Juniper Technical Assistance Team in critical customer escalations and deployments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8-15 years of experience, preferably in a router/switch company.
- Strong knowledge of Router/Switch architecture and experience with L3 Forwarding, MPLS/L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN, SR-MPLS, SRv6, or GRE.
- Role is onsite with expectation to work primarily from an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in design and development of forwarding software and understanding of system architecture for network processor-based products.
- Familiarity with Broadcom ASICs such as Qumran/Jericho is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network deployments and strong coding/debugging skills including core file analysis.
