About This Role
- Lead a team of software engineers including management responsibilities such as hiring, training, performance appraisal, and resource allocation.
- Own the design, development, and delivery of complex software components in educational and health record systems, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
- Serve as escalation point for development issues and guide internal and external teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in multiple development languages and technologies such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, C/C++, SQL, .Net, Windows, UNIX.
- Experience with software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall and resource models like Managed Services or Staff Augmentation.

- Experienced leader with ability to manage, mentor, and develop a software team in a complex product environment.
- Strong technical expertise in data modeling, software architecture, and optimization techniques, capable of bridging multiple technologies and external/internal teams.
- Proven skills in project planning, prioritization, and effective communication with stakeholders including senior management and clients.
