About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of scalable media and entertainment platforms using Ruby on Rails microservices, Python, and shell scripting to deliver high-performance content services aligned with digital strategy.
- Provide technical direction on modular microservices architectures supporting streaming asset management, recommendation engines, and analytics, ensuring flexibility for feature expansion.
- Coordinate hybrid team collaboration, oversee code quality through standards and reviews, guide integration of third-party media services, and drive performance optimization, security, and reliable deployments.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 11 years of experience in software development with proven technical leadership.
- Hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails development for high-volume user-facing applications including controllers, models, background jobs, and data store integration.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures and strong Python programming skills, plus shell scripting for automation.
- Solid experience in media and entertainment domain including content workflows, metadata management, and rights considerations.

- Experience leading technical discussions, estimations, and planning focused on delivery timelines and code health within hybrid work environments.
