About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Rust backend applications focusing on data conversion and file streaming.
- Implement and maintain Rust CLI, TUI, UI components, and Python SDK related to data tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fault-tolerant, high-quality data conversion services using modern data tools and observability practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Rust Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in complex data file conversion, file compression, data serialization/deserialization, and data/file streaming.
- Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting for observability of services.
- Location: Bangalore (Hybrid); Employment Type: Full-Time.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building fault-tolerant backend systems using composable application patterns such as Ports & Adapters (Hexagon Architecture).
- Familiarity with data streaming tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Flink) and data lakehouse platforms like Databricks.
- Exposure to DevOps practices involving CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
