About This Role
- Own end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Valor Gateway and Portal, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, release coordination, and quality sign-off.
- Translate business and compliance requirements into detailed, unambiguous technical specifications ensuring complete impact analysis before engineering commits.
- Manage ISV requirements and prioritize product features based on feasibility and market value for the Valor Payment Gateway and ISV project.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, or closely related role, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, or merchant services.
- Proven experience managing SDLC: writing requirements, grooming backlogs, running agile ceremonies, and coordinating engineering releases.
- High proficiency in English, with strong ability to communicate with US-based teams and accurately translate business needs into PRDs.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule from Chennai office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically fluent with strong understanding of payment systems, transaction flows, data models, and integrations to converse credibly with engineering and QA teams.
- Rigorous in requirements analysis, ensuring no gaps or edge cases remain unaddressed before development starts.
- Experienced operating in structured product teams, collaborating closely with product owners, and executing with strong process and communication discipline.
