About This Role
- Design and engineer backend systems primarily using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
- Develop and maintain robust REST APIs and SOAP/Web Services with strong focus on security and governance.
- Leverage cloud-native technologies on GCP including event-driven systems with Pub/Sub or Kafka, and handle system modernization or decomposition of monolithic applications.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices design patterns.
- Experience with GCP, cloud-native applications, event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Kafka), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years in backend engineering.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in modernizing or decomposing monolithic applications into microservices at scale.
- Skilled in designing distributed systems with strong system design, performance tuning, and debugging capabilities.
- Comfortable working with cloud-native observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) and leading technical teams or initiatives.
