About This Role
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for Siemens software products covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Quality Engineers to define test cases, develop automation strategies, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Investigate quality issues by analyzing test failures, troubleshooting defects, and enhancing test frameworks to improve product quality and test coverage.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically in test automation.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for developing automation solutions.
- Experience with test automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with API testing (RESTful services), SQL database validation, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automated testing within Agile/Scrum environments, with familiarity in TDD and BDD methodologies.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and analyzing test failures collaboratively to resolve defects effectively.
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment involving product management, development, and quality engineering across global teams.
