About This Role
- Own engineering deliverables using Siemens hardware and software tools, ensuring quality and schedule adherence across projects.
- Manage and execute automation projects in pharma, chemical, F&B, water/wastewater domains focusing on meeting scope, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction.
- Support team management including resource planning, capability development, process standardization, and cost reduction via reusable engineering solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, ENTC or allied branches.
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation systems engineering and application within Pharma, Food & Beverage, Chemical or Water/Wastewater industries.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with DCS Automation Systems, preferably Siemens Simatic PCS7 and associated technologies (Batch process ISA S88, SCADA systems).
- Location: Based in Mumbai with travel required to other locations in India and abroad.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full project lifecycle from design to commissioning with strong understanding of batch and continuous process standards (ISA S88, S95), and regulatory standards (21 CFR Part11, GAMP5).
- Operates well in international project teams with ability to adapt to diverse working styles and demonstrate strong negotiation and intercultural communication skills.
- Technical proficiency across Siemens and third party automation systems, communication protocols (MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, HART, Ethernet, OPC), and familiarity with virtual machines and networking.
