About This Role
- Own feature testing for core database features, including creating test specifications, test cases, and plans.
- Develop and automate test scripts using programming languages like C, Shell, and Python.
- Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, and engineering teams to isolate and resolve issues and ensure reliable database feature delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Over 2 years programming and/or software testing experience in a product-based company.
- Proficiency in C, Shell scripting, Python, plus strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments, relational databases, Agile development, and knowledge of CICD and DevOps tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing database features with understanding of design documents and ability to create and automate tests.
- Capable of working independently as an individual contributor in collaboration with architects and engineering teams.
- Familiar with cloud-native environments and comfortable adapting to new technologies and frameworks.
