Demonstrated project experience in control engineering developments.
Willingness and ability to support hardware-in-the-loop simulations and on-locomotive testing and validation.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Experienced in control system integration for electric or hybrid locomotive powertrain components, including battery management and traction control.
Familiar with design tools like Matlab/Simulink, and requirements management tools such as DOORS.
Knowledge of power electronics, rotating electric machines, and transportation auxiliary or traction systems to drive effective design and problem resolution.
