About This Role
- Designs, develops, tests, deploys, monitors, and supports a software platform or application within a squad with high autonomy.
- Leads adoption of best practices, frameworks, architectural decisions, and ensures quality, security, performance, and maintainability of software solutions.
- Mentors squad members, manages technical backlog including performance and tech debt, coordinates with product managers and architects, and drives continuous improvement and operational support including monitoring and troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience including 5+ years designing Big Data systems in Cloud environments.
- Expertise in SQL, query optimization, Apache Spark with Python (3+ years), and experience with data platform technologies (e.g., Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, SQLDB).
- Experience with Enterprise CI/CD processes and Azure stack (Logic and Function apps) preferred; work experience required explicitly: 8+ years.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in Big Data and Cloud-based data platform development with deep technical expertise in Apache Spark, SQL, and data platform tools.
- Experience leading technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with product and architecture teams within an agile squad.
- Proficient in driving automation, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within software delivery lifecycle in enterprise environments.
