About This Role
- Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks across web, API, mobile, and backend services using Playwright with TypeScript/Python.
- Define and drive automation strategy, including test coverage, quality KPIs, quality gates, and integrate API, contract, and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, mentor SDETs, and collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to enhance testability and release quality in a cloud-native, microservices environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SDET/Automation Engineering.
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript and/or Python; familiarity with Java/C# is a plus.
- Expert hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
- Work from office in Pune location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automation framework architecture, design patterns, and building test coverage strategies aligned with quality KPIs.
- Proficient in integrating automation testing into CI/CD pipelines and performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, or k6).
- Comfortable working with cloud-native microservices environments and using AI tools for test generation, maintenance, and code reviews.
